본인의 저작물을 만들때에 상업적으로 활용해도 괜찮은 ‘저작권 걱정 없는 이미지’ 검색 사이트에 관한 글입니다. 돈을 지불한다면 본인이 정확하게 원하는 종류의 이미지를 구할 수 있겠지만, 굳이 지불을 하지 않아도 고화질의 비슷한 이미지를 충분히 구할 수 있습니다. 유튜브나 포스팅 작성 시에 유용하게 사용될 수 있죠.

제가 평소에 주로 찾고 사용하는 방법들을 아래와 같이 나열하여 놓았으니, 용도에 맞는 웹사이트를 활용하시어 좋은 창작물 만드시기 바랍니다. 각 사이트의 라이센스 전문 요약본과 링크를 같이 적어두었으니 반드시 직접 확인하시고 사용하시기 바랍니다(본 글에서 발생할 수 있는 오류로 인해 필자는 책임지지 않습니다).

검색 엔진을 통한 이미지 검색

검색 엔진을 통한 저작권 무료 이미지 검색 방법입니다. 검색 엔진에서는 이미지의 저작권을 정확하게 보증하고 있지 않기 때문에 이를 확실하게 확인하고자 하시면 이미지 소유자에게 연락하셔서 확인하셔야 합니다.

 

구글 이미지 검색

이미지 탭에 가셔서, Tools(도구) > Labeled for reuse를 선택하시고 검색하시면 됩니다.

 

네이버 이미지 검색

마찬가지로 이미지 탭에서 ‘상업적 이용 가능’을 선택하시고 검색하시면 됩니다.

 

Let’s CC

Let’s CC에서 검색한 결과에 대해 CC Korea는 라이센스를 보증하지 않습니다. 해당 제작자 및 소유자에게 직접 연락하셔서 확인하시는 것이 가장 정확합니다.

이미지 검색 사이트 모음

주제별로 나뉘어져 있는 정말 말그대로 ‘High Quality’의 이미지를 구하실 수 있습니다. 구글이나 네이버에서 구할 수 있는 이미지가 조금 품질이 떨어지며 사용범위가 제한적인 반면 아래 사이트들에서 구하실 이미지들은 정말 고품질입니다.

사진 사용 시, 작가와 관련된 크레딧을 남기는 것이 의무는 아니나, 사진을 만들어준 작가를 조금이나마 생각한다면 크레딧을 남겨주시는 것이 작가에게는 굉장히 도움될 듯합니다(아래처럼).

Unsplash의 모든 이미지는 무료로 다운로드 가능하며, 상업적으로 이용이 가능합니다. 다만, Unsplash의 자산(사진)을 다른 비슷한 서비스에 복제하는 것은 문제가 될 수 있습니다. 자세한 내용은 아래 전문 링크를 참조 바랍니다.

상업적으로 사용할 수 있는 라이센스를 가진 이미지만 모여 있지는 않지만, 2백억개가 넘는 사진 라이브러리를 가지고 있기 때문에 충분히 검색해볼 가치가 있습니다.

검색 시, ‘상업적 이용 및 수정 허용’ 등 본인이 원하는 필터를 걸어서 검색하면 도움될 듯합니다. ▼

마찬가지로 사진에 들어가시면, 지켜야할 조건들이 정확하게 명시되어 있습니다. 모든 라이센스 정보는 링크가 동봉되어 있으니 쉽게 찾아보실 수 있을겁니다. ▼

고화질의 음식 사진들만 다루고 있습니다. 음식에 관련된 창작을 하시는 분들에게 매우 도움될 이미지 검색 사이트인 듯하네요. 물론, CC0 라이센스를 따르고 있기 때문에 상업적으로 이용하셔도 무방합니다.

All photos published on Foodiesfeed are licensed under the Creative Commons Zero (CCO) license which means you can copy, modify, distribute and use the photos for free, including commercial purposes. The CC0 license was released by the non-profit organization Creative Commons (CC). Get more information about Creative Commons images and the license on the official license page. An easy way to think about the license is to use the photos as if you took them yourself.

디자이너이자 사진 작가인 Viktor Hanacek에 의해 촬영된 사진이 업로드되어 있는 공간으로 이 곳의 사진 모두 상업적으로 무료로 사용이 가능한 사진들입니다. 작가에게 기부가 가능하니, 고마움을 표현하려고 하신다면(?) 충분히 하실 수 있습니다.

 

Kaboom Pics

폴란드 출신 웹디자이너, Karolina Grabowska가 업로드한 이미지 라이브러리입니다. 개별 이미지의 Detail 부분에 ‘FREE FOR PERSONNAL & COMMERCIAL’로 명시되어 있다면 상업적으로 이용해도 무방합니다. 굉장히 블로깅에 사용하기 좋은 장면들이 고품질으로 업로드 되어 있습니다.

 

Public Domain Images

매주 최소 10MB 이상의 고품질의 이미지가 업로드됩니다. CC0 1.0 Universal (CC0 1.0) 라이센스를 따르고 있으므로, 저작권자의 허락을 구하지 않아도 이 저작물을 상업적인 목적을 포함 모든 목적으로 복사, 수정, 배포, 실연하실 수 있습니다.

 

These images are all released under CC0 1.0 Universal (CC0 1.0) Public Domain Dedication. This is pretty awesome because this means that the person associated with the photos has dedicated the photos to the public domain by waiving all of his or her rights to the work worldwide under copyright law, including all related and neighboring rights, to the extent allowed by law. What’s even more awesomer is that you can copy, modify, distribute, even for commercial purposes, all without asking permission. What’s awesomer-est is that we have gone through the trouble of downloading all of the images from unsplash.com and put them in an easier format to consume.

상업적으로 사용할 수 있는 무료 이미지만 모아져 있지는 않지만, 50,170,070개 이상의 방대한 이미지 저장소를 보유하고 있습니다. 이미지 하단에 자세한 라이센스가 명시되어 있으니, 사용 전 확인하시고 사용하시기 바랍니다.

Content under open content licenses may be reused without any need to contact the licensor(s), but just keep in mind that:

  • some licenses require that the original creator be attributed;
  • some licenses require that the specific license be identified when reusing (including, in some cases, stating or linking to the terms of the license);
  • some licenses require that if you modify the work, your modifications must also be similarly freely licensed; and finally.

Content in the public domain may not have a strict legal requirement of attribution (depending on the jurisdiction of content reuse), but attribution is recommended to give correct provenance.
