손쉬운 사용(Assistive Touch) 옵션 변경

3D Touch 멀티 태스킹 복원

iOS 11에서 잠시 사라졌던 3D Touch 멀티 태스킹 기능이 복원되었습니다.

70가지 새로운 이모티콘 추가

70가지의 새로운 이모티콘이 추가되었습니다. 원본 이미지와 사진들은 모두 아래 링크에서 다운받으실 수 있습니다.

“새로운 이모티콘은 Unicode 10에서 승인된 캐릭터들로부터 적용되었으며 모든 디테일이 드러나도록 디자인 되었다. iOS 11.1에는 세계 이모티콘의 날에 발표된 머리에 스카프를 두른 여성, 수염 난 사람, 모유 수유, 좀비, 가부좌를 튼 사람을 비롯해 샌드위치와 코코넛 등 새로운 음식 이모티콘도 추가된다. 또한 이번 업데이트에는 미국 수화(American Sign Language)의 ‘I Love You’를 따라서 디자인한 ‘사랑해’ 제스처도 포함된다.” – Apple Newsroom

KRACK 관련, 보안 문제 해결

아래 공식 문서의 내용처럼, KRACK 관련 이슈가 해결되었습니다.

KRACK은 Key Reinstallation Attack의 줄임말로 WPA2 프로토콜을 이용한 공격법입니다. 주로 WPA2 프로토콜의 보안을 뚫고 들어와 네트워크 내에서 오고 가는 중요한 데이터를 가로채거나 Malware를 주입하는 방식을 이용한 공격법입니다.

Wi-Fi

  • Available for: iPhone 7 and later, and iPad Pro 9.7-inch (early 2016) and later
  • Impact: An attacker in Wi-Fi range may force nonce reuse in WPA clients (Key Reinstallation Attacks – KRACK)
  • Description: A logic issue existed in the handling of state transitions. This was addressed with improved state management.

간단한 업데이트 사항

  • 잠금 화면 -> 홈 화면 전환 시간 단축
  • 잠금 화면에서 Swipe로 카메라 열 때, Animation이 Slide에서 Pop-up 효과로 변경
  • 알림(Notification) 앱의 Animation 역시 Slide에서 Pop-up으로 효과 변경
  • 사파리 Top부분을 눌러 페이지 가장 위쪽으로 이동할 때, 마지막에 가서 느려지는 효과로 변경
  • iBooks, Bottom Bar 아이콘 테마 변경
  • Passcode 입력 시, “Incorrect Passcode” 반응 삭제
  • 기타 사진앱에서 발생하던 문제 해결 (아래 공식 Release Note 참조)
  • GPS 부정확 반응 수정

  • Over 70 new emoji characters including new food types, animals, mythical creatures, clothing options, more expressive smiley faces, gender-neutral characters and more.

Photos

  • Resolves an issue that could cause some photos to appear blurry.
  • Addresses an issue that could cause Live Photo effects to play back slowly.
  • Fixes an issue that could cause some photos to not display in the People album when restoring from an iCloud Backup.
  • Fixes an issue that could impact performance when swiping between screenshots.

Accessibility

  • Improves braille support for Grade 2 input.
  • Improves VoiceOver access to multi-page PDFs.
  • Improves VoiceOver rotor actions for announcing incoming notifications.
  • Improves VoiceOver rotor actions menu when removing an app from the app switcher.
  • Fixes an issue for some users where alternative keys would not display when using VoiceOver with Touch Typing.
  • Fixes an issue where the VoiceOver rotor would always return to the default action in Mail.
  • Fixes an issue where  the VoiceOver rotor would not delete messages.

Other Improvements and Fixes

  • Restores support for accessing the App Switcher by pressing on the edge of the display with 3D Touch.
  • Fixes an issue that caused cleared Mail notifications to to reappear on the Lock Screen.
  • Fixes an issue in enterprise environments that prevented data from being moved between managed apps.
  • Fixes and issue with some third-party GPS accessories that caused inaccuracies in location data.
  • Resolves and issue where settings for Heart Rate notifications were appearing in the Apple Watch app (1st generation)
  • Fixes an issue where app icons were not appearing in notifications on Apple Watch.

  • Available for: iPhone 5s and later, iPad Air and later, and iPod touch 6th generation
  • Impact: Processing a maliciously crafted text file may lead to an unexpected application termination
  • Description: A denial of service issue was addressed through improved memory handling.

Kernel

  • Available for: iPhone 5s and later, iPad Air and later, and iPod touch 6th generation
  • Impact: An application may be able to execute arbitrary code with kernel privileges
  • Description: A memory corruption issue was addressed with improved memory handling.

Messages

  • Available for: iPhone 5s and later, iPad Air and later, and iPod touch 6th generation
  • Impact: A person with physical access to an iOS device may be able to access photos from the lock screen
  • Description: A lock screen issue allowed access to photos via Reply With Message on a locked device. This issue was addressed with improved state management.

Siri

  • Available for: iPhone 5s and later, iPad Air and later, and iPod touch 6th generation
  • Impact: A person with physical access to an iOS device may be able to use Siri to read notifications of content that is set not to be displayed at the lock screen
  • Description: An issue existed with Siri permissions. This was addressed with improved permission checking.

StreamingZip

  • Available for: iPhone 5s and later, iPad Air and later, and iPod touch 6th generation
  • Impact: A malicious zip file may be able modify restricted areas of the file system
  • Description: A path handling issue was addressed with improved validation.

UIKit

  • Available for: iPhone 5s and later, iPad Air and later, and iPod touch 6th generation
  • Impact: Characters in a secure text field might be revealed
  • Description: The characters in a secure text field were revealed during focus change events. This issue was addressed through improved state management.

WebKit

  • Available for: iPhone 5s and later, iPad Air and later, and iPod touch 6th generation
  • Impact: Processing maliciously crafted web content may lead to arbitrary code execution
  • Description: Multiple memory corruption issues were addressed with improved memory handling.
